Everyone…

1. Everyone
2. Enter
3. Evildoers

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭21‬-‭23‬ ‭NIV‬‬
”“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’“

1. Do I know my Father in Heaven?
2. Do I know Jesus as my Savior?
3. How do I know that I know that I know the Creator of my life?

This verse should be a great wake-up call. Am I doing the Will of my Father? How do I know the Will of my Father?

I start with a relationship with my Father through Jesus. My sin separated me from my Father and Jesus brought me back into a right relationship with Him. Because He paid the price for my sin. Jesus’ sacrifice allows me to be in the presence of my Father because my sin separated me from Him because He is Holy and cannot have a relationship with me in my sinful state. When I receive Jesus’ payment for the punishment my sin deserves, I am then made righteous so I can be in the presence of my Father. After receiving what Jesus has done, I then come into the presence of my Father and walk with Him. I commune with Him and live in His presence every moment of my life on earth until I leave this body and then come into His presence in my eternal body. I will exist with my Father for eternity. In this life I live in Jesus and through Jesus and I find my purpose in Jesus. He prepares me to do good works on earth and thus also prepares me for my eternal existence in Heaven. On earth I am becoming more and more like Jesus as I am His representative on earth to others so that they might be able to receive Jesus as their Savior and also become fellow heirs of the Father and receive the Gift of Eternal Life and be in the presence of the Father forever and ever. We can only become fulfilled in our lives, even here in earth, only by knowing the Father and this knowing and fulfilling our purpose here on earth. Without a relationship with the Father we will never know our true self and purpose, we will never be able to grow into the person that our Father God intended for us to be. We will always be searching and never finding our true purpose and thus never having true peace.

How do I follow Jesus?
I receive his free gift of Salvation. I listen to his Word and seek Him every day of my life. I walk with Him and I talk with Him all of my days.
