Prayer
- Will I submit to God’s Kingdom or will I worship my own kingdom?
- Am I living as if the Kingdom of God is within my presence?
- Will I proclaim His Kingdom with every breath I take?
1 Chronicles 17:12-14
He (Solomon) is the one who will build a house for me, and I will establish his throne forever. I will be his father, and he will be my son. I will never take my love away from him, as I took it away from your predecessor. I will set him over my house and my kingdom forever; his throne will be established forever.’
1. Will I submit to God’s Kingdom or will I worship my own kingdom?
____
Luke 17:20-21
Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”
(Optional: Life Application Study Bible commentary on vs. 20-21 The Pharisees asked when God’s kingdom would come, not knowing that it had already arrived. The kingdom of God is not like an earthly kingdom with geographical boundaries. Instead, it begins with the work of God’s Spirit in people’s lives and in relationships. Still today we must resist looking to institutions or programs for evidence of the progress of God’s kingdom. Instead, we should look for what God is doing in people’s hearts.)
2. Am I living as if the Kingdom of God is within my presence?

Psalms 145:10-13
All your works praise you, Lord; your faithful people extol you. They tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might, so that all people may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.
3. Will I proclaim His Kingdom with every breath I take?
____
How do I follow Jesus?
- I will worship Him with all of my heart. I will live for Him with all of my strength. I will speak of Him with my every breath.
