Prayer

  1. Am I noticed as honorable?
  2. Can I trust that the Lord will get me through the pain?
  3. Do I see that I am a beloved daughter of my Father?

(These verses are referring to mothers/women, but fathers/men can take a nugget from them as well)

Proverbs 31:26-29

She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”

1. Am I noticed as honorable?

John 16:20-22

Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

2. Can I trust that the Lord will get me through the pain?

Psalm 139:13-15

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

3. Do I see that I am a beloved daughter of my Father?
