Prayer

  1. Will I continue to trust the Lord while walking through my struggles?
  2. Will I speak of the Lord even when I face persecution?
  3. Do I continue to live in God’s love each day?

Ezra 9:8-9

”… the Lord our God has been gracious in leaving us a remnant and giving us a firm place in his sanctuary, and so our God gives light to our eyes and a little relief in our bondage. Though we are slaves, our God has not forsaken us in our bondage. He has shown us kindness in the sight of the kings of Persia: He has granted us new life to rebuild the house of our God and repair its ruins, and he has given us a wall of protection in Judah and Jerusalem.

Acts 5:17-21(a)

… the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy. They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail. But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out. “Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people all about this new life.” At daybreak they entered the temple courts, as they had been told, and began to teach the people.

Galatians 2:19-21

“… through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”

3. Do I continue to live in God’s love each day?

How do I follow Jesus?

  • I trust Him in spite of my feelings. I trust Him in spite of my circumstances. I follow Him wherever He leads me.
