”But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are (saved) healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.“
1. Do I understand the depth God went through to save me?
Psalms 34:4-6 NIV
”I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.“
2. Do I believe and trust that the Lord will save me?
Romans 10:9-10 NIV
”If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.“
3. Do I believe that I need Jesus to save me?
How do I follow Jesus?
I listen for his voice. I trust Him with all of my heart. I follow Him by faith.
